About Cooperage Brewing Company

Cooperage Brewing Company was born out of a deep passion for craft beer and a relentless drive to create something unique. Founded by Tyler Smith, our Founder/Brewer, who first fell in love with beer as an enthusiastic consumer, Cooperage started as a humble home-brewing operation in Tyler’s garage. Inspired by the innovation of modern craft breweries and the time-honored traditions of classic styles, Tyler began brewing with curiosity and determination.

What started with 9 beers on tap in a garage has now grown into a brewery known for pushing boundaries and crafting distinctive beers that resonate with beer lovers far and wide. From our first pours in 2015 to today, our ever-evolving, award-winning beer menu spans a wide variety of styles, including West Coast IPAs, Imperial Stouts, crisp lagers, hazy IPAs, fruited sours, and refreshing seltzers.

Now a central hub for the Santa Rosa community, Cooperage Brewing Company has expanded, hosting events, collaborating with local vendors and artists, and serving as a place where creativity and quality come together in every pint.
